Fall and how far I have come

Dear Blog,

I started this blog just over a year ago on October 20th. How far I have come! I am now an official blogger for a school run magazine called ALIGN, largely thanks to me starting this blog for fun. Each day I ride my bike to class I watch the crisp wind blow the leaves off the trees marking the makings of fall. Fall has wrapped me up in its warm blanket of orange and yellow leaves and I am overjoyed to be alive.

I jump at the opportunity to go on a crisp autumn stroll. To crunch a leaf under my boot. To cozy up and read a book in our little reading nook. I'm so happy I can wear my scarf again and wear sunglasses strictly for style and not because it's sunny out. It seems its nearing 6pm all day with how cloudy and quiet it is out. And even with the brilliant change of foliage, the weather still seems to be leveling out at a sweet 55 degrees, which for Oregon at this time of year isn't too bad.

A week ago I went to the pumpkin patch and had the time of my life. Meandered through a corn maze, threw pumpkins while riding a tractor, launched pumpkins with a slingshot, went down a huge slide, what more could you ask for?

The thinker

It seems to me, this fall is truly fall. I feel it. Everything about it is so quintessentially fall. Sometimes I find the seasons pass me by and I don't get time to revel in the festivities of each season, but not this fall. Everything is aligning for me it seems. The gardener even trimmed the bush that blocks my window so now I can see much more of the sky in my room. It is the littlest things that excite me.

The most beautiful sight I have ever seen

  1. To be a pumpkin in a pumpkin patch, vibes must be going crazy all the time
