Laguna seca baby

Dear blog, 

Laguna Seca Baby! This race weekend is a big deal for my family, specifically my dad. We had not been in around 8 years or so so we were all very excited to be back. The drive was long, 7 hours or so but it went by quick.

I like the environment of the race track. So many cool cars to look at. So many old men who have been waiting years for this weekend. Everyone is happy to talk and show off their cars. You only eat sandwiches during the day and get to have a dinner of basically just meat by night. 

Then it finally came time for the first race! The first race was short because my dad's friend and business partner Blair crashed around lap 2..... oh well!

They were all forced to stop right around where we were taking pictures so we caught this!

The next day it was time for race #2. Everyone was very excited to show off their skills. 

When I was a kid I had never really cared about the races but now that I am older and kind of have an idea of what's going on it is really really interesting to watch them. 

It was really fun to look at all of the cars off the track

This one was a gorgeous mint green and was very fast!

This yellow car was my favorite one to look at. It wasn't in the same racing class as my dad so I watched it  go around the track from our campsite. It was like a little bee flying around the track.

The trip to the track was a lot of fun. I am very glad I went.
