Desk dichotomy

Dear blog, 

There is a stark difference between my desk and my roommates desk. 

This is my desk, 

This is my roommate's desk, 

On-going desk dichotomy. Somehow my desk it always covered in books, pens, postcards, and scraps of paper and hers seems to be neatly organized and perfectly laid out. Even if I clean it up, the next day it ends up the same again. Usually my desk is clean, but here I am always emptying out one bag and filling up another, this leads to my desk looking the way it does. I've accepted it. It's sort of a timestamp of where I am and where I've been.
