Stories from the evening

 Hello again my sweet sweet blog!

My special occasions dress hangs on my window, waiting to be worn.  

We were having dinner at Vivace Ristorante, a restaurant that had a great view of Siena, surrounded by flowers and greenery. 

We got ready and everyone looked so nice! Then we walked to the restaurant and I prayed they would sit us outside and they did! Everything was going perfect, exactly what I was wishing for. Pictures cannot capture the beauty that it was to sit there, in calm 72 degree weather and setting sunshine. 

Flower petals landed on our table throughout the evening and birds flew over us during sunset. 

A couple of little cats meandered throughout the patio and didn't seem to care about us or the dog barking at them from behind the fence. 

It was calmer and quieter and everything seemed to move slower

As the sun began to set, the view became beautiful in a different way. Everything around me was so pleasing to the eye and I was really just happy to be there. We meowed at the cats and they meowed back and let us pet them. 

Then we got home and cut into a big fruit tart from Nannini!
