Looking at the clothes hanging out to dry

 Dear Blog,

I love to look at the clothes hanging out to dry outside peoples windows. It says so much about who lives there.

Is it a wide selection of flowery cloths and towels? Or instead 6 pairs of jeans and a soccer jersey? It shows a lot about who lives where based on the clothes they hang out to dry. An important note is that nobody really has dryers here in Siena so everything air dries.

I once saw a full outfit hanging out to dry. A pair of grey socks, one grey shirt, one linen flat cap, a pair of pants, and dark blue boxers just swaying in the wind. Such a sweet sight, I wonder what old man was doing his laundry.
I do wonder what they do when it rains or snows.
Would they be sad their clothes weren't touched by the sunlight?
We can't hang our clothes because there are too many pigeons, so instead we use an indoor drying rack.
Here we observe one sweater for each day of the workweek.
I often stop and watch the clothes sway in the wind. I wonder what it would feel like to put on a pair of pants freshly dried by the sun. Putting on sunshine.
