First trip to Florence pt. 1

 Dear Blog,

Today we went to Florence! We took a FlixBus then a city bus to get to the center of the city. The city bus was so packed and hot but I was excited to get to the vintage market we had planned on going to so I did not care too much.

We finally got to the city square after what felt like 3 hot hours but was really only 40 minutes and went through a small market. I got a cute little gold necklace for € 5.

We stopped to get a quick sandwich because we hadn't eaten anything that day and it was nearly 1pm. Definitely a tourist sandwich shop because my sandwich was € 8 and dry.

still hit though I can't even lie.....

Then as we were walking to the vintage market we found out it was closed! it was literally the whole reason we came.

Then we went to Antico Bottaio, a steakhouse in Florence. When we walked in we saw an old old man eating some soup and nothing else. It smelled like a really good soup in there and it had cute gingham tablecloths.

The bathroom lights were fully red. kinda freakyyyyyyy.....

All the food was so good. It was expensive and I still cant get over the fact that we have to pay for water but I guess it evens out because you don't have to tip.

This was the Polpo all griglia su crema di ceci al limone (aka grilled octopus on a chickpea cream with a slight taste of lemon)

This does not look that good but im telling you it was so good. It was a beef fillet with a peppercorn sauce and it was soooo good like for real too good.
